December is one of the most popular times to visit Cebu and Bohol. Families travel together for the holidays, and many guests from Manila, Davao and abroad come home for Christmas. Here's how to plan a smooth, stress-free December trip.

1. Book early

December is peak season. Flights, hotels and ferries fill up faster than usual, especially around Christmas and New Year.

  • Book your tour 1–2 months ahead if you can.
  • Book your flights early too. Airfare is not included in our packages.
  • Have your travel dates and number of travelers ready, so we can send your exact quotation quickly.

2. Prices depend on the month

Tour prices change by travel month, and December is in the higher-price season. Your quotation always shows your exact total, with no hidden fees. Optional activities like whale shark watching and canyoneering are only paid on site if you join.

3. Weather: plan for some rain

December can still bring rain and, sometimes, weather advisories. Your safety comes first: if authorities stop boat trips or the weather is unsafe, tours may be moved.

Our weather policy: if your tour is cancelled because of bad weather, you can choose a 70% refund of your payment, or rebook to another available date with no extra payment.

Tips:

  • Leave one free day in your plan if you can, in case you need to move a tour.
  • Pack a light raincoat or umbrella and a waterproof phone pouch.

4. Travelling with family

December trips are often family trips, with kids, parents and grandparents together.

  • Kids' rates: children under 4 travel free, and kids aged 4 to 10 get 10% off the adult price.
  • Family-friendly pace: our tours don't rush, so kids and seniors can enjoy the day.
  • Private room for your group on multi-day packages. You never share with strangers.
  • For a big family, a private tour gives you your own van and your own schedule.
